We go the extra mile to help people here at Bluebird Care Wandsworth, so when we had an emergency call from a lady called Sandy who couldn’t get to a Wimbledon match, our amazing team sprang into action.
 
A few phone calls and one car journey later and Sandy was courtside, enjoying the Wimbledon atmosphere and watching one of the most exciting matches of the tournament.
 
Sandy says:
 
“I phoned Aurelia ‘at the last minute’ to see if she could find a carer to go with me to Wimbledon tennis when my previous plans broke down (my private carer went into hospital). She did! Corina came to my house, jumped into the car and were in our seats by 1:05pm just in time to see Federer and Anderson warming up. Hated to see Federer lose, but it was an exciting match (we watched the next one too – Ranoic and Isner) and had a wonderful day out. Many thanks to Bluebird for saving the day!”
 
The day sounded so good, we’re a little bit jealous that the entire team couldn’t tag along! Happily, Sandy was able to enjoy a great day out, safe in the knowledge that Corina was there to support her.
 
We can’t thank our office staff and Care Assistants enough for the fantastic way they responded to this emergency and many others. They really do go above and beyond to help all our Customers get the most out of life.
