Bluebird Care Clapham & Streatham are committed to providing the same standard of care we would expect for our own families.

Bryce - Registered Care Manager
Like many people, I changed my career path to Health & Social Care after a close family member had a very poor experience. In my case, it was my grandparent while living in a care home. My career began in solar energy design back home in Yorkshire, but I now couldn’t imagine working in any other sector. I moved to London with my partner and joined a small complex care company, initially as a Field Care Supervisor and later as an Area Care Manager. Alongside this, I studied independently and ultimately achieved my goal of becoming a Registered Care Manager and Director. I feel fortunate to have supported the people we care for at every level, from delivering care directly to overseeing operational management. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for the dedication of our carers and a strong understanding of the support our clients need to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. It is a privilege to lead such a passionate and committed team and to work together towards our shared goal of delivering the highest standards of care.

Alice – Business Director
As a mum to two young daughters, I initially joined the team as a part-time administrator. Over time, I progressed to leading Recruitment, growing alongside this family company as my own girls grew up. Today, I’m proud to be the full-time Business Manager and Director. I remain closely involved with our wonderful carers—many of whom have been with us for years—and I love seeing the individual journeys they take from the day they start working with us. I am first point of contact for people enquiring about our services, a role I take incredibly seriously. I was once in that same position myself, unsure where to start and needing help for my own mum. I know just how daunting and confusing the process can feel. Because of that experience, it’s deeply important to me that no one feels as overwhelmed as I once did. I’m committed to offering the very best advice and support I can.

Dana Recruitment Manager
Dana works tirelessly to find and recruit our hidden gems. Whilst our excellent reputation as employers means we can pick and choose, it does mean that we have a higher than average volume of enquiries. Dana works through them all, trying her absolute best to only select the real stars.

Emma - Customer Services Manager
My interest in care began at school, where I studied Health and Social Care. After continuing on to college and completing my NVQs, I began working in a care home. It didn’t take long to realise that working with people in a care home wasn’t for me – they should be in their own homes. My great-grandmother, unfortunately, had a bad experience with care, and this made me want to prove that not all care is of a poor standard. I began working as a carer for Bluebird Care and worked my way up. I certainly feel I am fulfilling my ambition. I am really proud of the work that we all do here, and we are most certainly proving to people that high-quality care is out there. I'm now Customer Services Manager/ Director It’s hugely rewarding to make such a difference to others. I truly enjoy my work and am thankful to Bluebird Care for allowing me to do what I love.

Renford - Care Coordinator
I began my career in care when my mother became ill and required support to continue living independently in her own home. This personal experience gave me a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. I have worked in social health care for nearly 20 years, supporting people within their own homes. I started my career as a carer and later progressed into a coordinator role, where I was responsible for organising and delivering high-quality care services. In this role, I ensured excellent standards of care for customer's while also supporting and guiding care staff to deliver consistent, compassionate support.

Michelle - Care Coordinator
I worked for Sainsbury’s for 19 years before deciding I needed a new challenge. My journey into care was inspired by watching my mum and her siblings look after both my Nan and aunt during their end-of-life care, which had a lasting impact on me. I had previously worked as a carer, a role I truly loved, and after completing my NVQ Level 2 I was offered the position of Field Care Supervisor, which I carried out for a year. I was then fortunate to join Bluebird Care, where I finally felt I had found my professional home. I am now working as a Coordinator where I am responsible for organising and scheduling care services to ensure customers receive consistent and timely support. I manage staff rotas, help match care assistants to customers based on individual needs and ensures all visits are covered efficiently. While the role can be challenging at times, it is also incredibly rewarding, and I genuinely love what I do.
