March Updates:
National Wear a Hat Day! 🧢🎩👒🎓
All 3 of our offices Waltham Forest, Docklands & Greenwich teamed up to celebrate wear a hat day and had lots of fun! Even our office mannequin Sarah got involved!
World Down Syndrome Day
Meet Janet 💫 Janet is 56 and is supported by her brother, his family, and our wonderful carers. She has a cheeky sense of humour, keeps us laughing, and loves listening to classical music every single day 🎶
Janet attends a day centre where she enjoys spending time with her friends, getting involved in arts and crafts, and of course, more music! She also loves going to church — something that has always been important to her from a very young age. Every Sunday, she proudly attends with her family ⛪
Our carers support Janet with a routine that works best for her, and she truly values those relationships. On their days off, she’s always asking, “Where’s Elaine? Where’s Alison?” — a real reminder of the special bonds she has built 💙
Janet always puts a smile on our faces, and today we celebrate just how fabulous she is! 🌟
HealthCheck Pop Up at All Saints Church in Highams Park
We held a free pop up at our local church where we performed free blood pressure & oxygen checks to the attendees, we also took one of our customers Irene who enjoyed herself and joined in with the free chair exercises! 👇🏻

Welcome our new Brand Ambassador Si King!
We’re super excited to announce that Si King is our new Brand Ambassador! 🎉💙
You may recognise him for his cooking expertise, but Si is now joining our mission to set the standard for life-changing care and help more people remain comfortable in the place they know best: home.
Si is helping us launch the Good Care Guide, a free resource designed to help families understand what quality care really looks like. You can download it for free using the link below.
This partnership is incredibly close to Si’s heart. Having experienced first-hand what it’s like to support loved ones who need care, he understands just how overwhelming it can feel. With so many options out there, how is anyone supposed to recognise what good care really looks like?

Meet Margaret & Teddy 🐾
Teddy is very protective over Margaret — he’ll often jump up onto her bed for a cuddle and always seems to sense when she’s not feeling her best, staying right by her side on those days 💙
Margaret feels so comforted by Teddy and is incredibly grateful to have him as not just a companion, but a much-loved member of her family 🐶💙

National Puzzle Day
We celebrated National Puzzle Day by visiting one of our customers, Helena, to enjoy a fun puzzle together! Helena loved the interaction and a good old catch-up. It was wonderful to mark the day with her! 🧩
International Day of Education
We celebrated the International Day of Education this month! Here are some pictures of our team taking part in training. We were joined by the Alzheimer’s Society, the Stroke Association, and also took part in a joint Oliver McGowan Learning disabilities training day with our colleagues from Docklands, Stratford & Wapping. Our team love learning new skills and putting them into practice! 📚
