It’s been a busy and exciting month across the team!

Award season!

It’s also award season and we’ve been busy submitting nominations recognising the incredible work our team does every day 🌟

A huge congratulations and good luck to Abiola, Bithiah and Alison, who are finalists in the Stars of Social Care Awards on June 12th 🏆

We’re also excited for the upcoming Bluebird Care Awards — keep your eyes peeled for updates!

And finally… wish the Waltham Forest team luck as finalists for the Dementia Friendly Business Award at the Dementia Care Awards 💙

Customer & Carer of the month

Each month, we love recognising both a Customer of the Month and Carer of the Month as a way of celebrating the amazing people who make our care community so special.

Our Customer of the Month is picked at random to put a smile on their faces with a impromptu visit and a small gift, while our Carer of the Month recognises team members who go above and beyond to provide compassionate, dedicated care.  

Our carer of the month is Sahra for working really hard to get care notes detailed and for helping a customer recover well. 

Our customer of the month for April was Marcella see her below with her plant and her trusty fishermans friends!

World Tea day! 

We celebrated World Tea Day on the 21st with plenty of tea, cake and lovely conversation! 🍰
