Through The Generations

On Tuesday 30 September Bluebird Care Wakefield celebrated their first year and marked Silver Sunday by inviting people to an afternoon of coffee, cake and conversation whilst raising funds for Macmillan Cancer support.

  On Tuesday 30 September Bluebird Care Wakefield celebrated their first year and marked Silver Sunday by inviting people to an afternoon of coffee, cake and conversation whilst raising funds for Macmillan Cancer support.

  We also gathered a collection of stories about the ‘changing times’ of our generations  from the people who came to celebrate with us. 

• It seemed as if many people from different generations saw their own youth as a ‘golden age’ of childhood and that each passing year seems to have taken something away from that valuable time in life, such as technology, politics and personal freedoms.
