Baby and Children’s Market

Last weekend we attended a Baby and Children's Market in Pontefract, raising £60 for The Prince of Wales Hospice.

At Bluebird Care Wakefield and Kirklees, we aim to attend at least one communal event every month. So far this month we have already supported two events (click here to read about our recent Dementia UK fundraiser), and we are scheduled to attend a Community Fun Day too!

Last weekend, we decided to show our support in Pontefract – at a Baby and Children’s Market. The aim of this particular event was to sell pre-loved baby and children’s clothes at low prices to families. We gathered as many donations as we could by reaching out to our staff and customers on our social media platforms (a big thank you to everyone that donated!). These donations included clothes, toys, and books for both babies and young children.

We are so pleased that we were able to help with this event and are happy to share that we raised £60 – which we will be donating to The Prince of Wales Hospice – at this event. Not only did we raise money for charity, as well as offer support to families, but we also had lots of fun while doing it.
