Julie Barker talks about her recent National Care Award nomination.
A few weeks ago we shared with you the news that Julie Barker, one of our lovely Care Assisstants, was shortlisted for the National Care Award. We are so proud of everything Julie has acheived this year; she has been nominated for multiple awards in the last few months including the Unsung Hero Award and the Care Award.
We asked Julie how she felt about her acheivements this year and this is what she said:
I was put forward for Carer of the Year at first, and was then shortlisted to the final 5 at the National Care Awards in London. Even though I didn’t win, I feel very proud to have been nominated and it was a fantastic evening. I feel honoured that Bluebird care put me forward for the award.
We are so pleased for Julie, and are very happy that we were able to support her through these wonderful moments.
