Keeping Warm in winter

During the winter period of 2017 Bluebird Care Wakefield have been promoting to our customers and the community on how they can stay warm and well during the coldest months. 

Bluebird Care Wakefield sent all of our customers a winter wise booklet that was provided to us by Independent Age to give them ideas and tips on Looking after yourself, staying healthy, keeping your home warm, making winter more affordable and Christmas. 

This booklet provided customers with telephone numbers for providers they may wish to contact and links to websites to get more information on how or when to do things. This includes things such as checking your boiler, calling people to ensure there is no loneliness at Christmas, help for people who may be in debt and links to help you claim the money you are entitled too. 

Bluebird Care Wakefield have also promoted staying warm at winter by sharing on their social media sites videos from Age UK on how to keep warm and also top tips from the NHS.
