Supporting our local food bank

Bluebird Care Wakefield have been collecting for their local Pontefract Food Bank in our office for the Central Methodist Church during the month of December and are currently still donating throughout 2018. 

Thirteen million people live below the poverty line in the UK, with individuals going hungry every day for a range of reasons.
The Trussell Trust’s network of food banks provides a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.
They are also supporting with matters that are More Than Food, by working with food banks to provide a range of new services like money advice and Fuel Banks.
Bluebird Care has had a box just outside of our office and have been asking that anyone contributes towards this much needed collection.
We delivered the food on the 18th December and are hoping to deliver again throughout January 2018.
