Meet the Directors of Bluebird Care Wakefield & Kirklees

We are Maddy and Hardeep; husband and wife and the Directors of Bluebird Care Wakefield & Kirklees. For us, becoming part of the care sector was not simply a business decision — it was a very personal journey, shaped by our family, our experiences and the values we have grown up with.

From an early age, caring for others has been a natural part of our family life. We have had family members working in adult social care and healthcare for over 15 years, and Maddy has also experienced the importance of care personally through caring for her own grandparents.

These experiences have given us a genuine understanding of how important it is to have someone you can trust when you or a loved one needs support.

Maddy has over 11 years of experience working within the public sector, including leadership and management roles. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong passion for supporting people, leading and motivating teams, and creating positive outcomes. She believes in bringing people together, encouraging them to reach their potential and creating a culture where everyone feels valued and supported.

Hardeep brings 12 years of experience in the finance sector, where professionalism, integrity, communication and attention to detail have been central to his career. He understands the importance of building trust, maintaining high standards and always striving to achieve the best possible outcomes — qualities that we believe are equally important when providing care to people in their own homes.

Although our professional backgrounds are different, our values are very much the same.

We believe that everyone deserves to be treated as an individual, with dignity, kindness, patience and respect.

We understand that choosing care for yourself or a loved one can be a big and sometimes emotional decision. It means placing your trust in someone to come into your home and become part of your life. We never take that trust for granted.

Our vision for Bluebird Care Wakefield & Kirklees is to create a service that feels personal, welcoming and genuinely family-focused. We want our customers and their loved ones to know that they are listened to, valued and supported by a team who truly cares about them as individuals.

Our family upbringing has taught us that the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. Whether it is taking the time to listen, offering reassurance on a difficult day, celebrating the little moments or simply being there when someone needs support, we believe great care is about caring for the person, not just providing a service.
