The RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District branch rescue, re-home and rehabilitate cats and dogs in our local area. They are based in East Ardsley, Wakefield, and cared for over 300 cats and dogs in 2025.
Every year, the RSPCA organises a fun-filled family-friendly summer dog show. They invite local businesses such as food trucks and small arts and crafts businesses to attend and share their creations, as well as put on an award show to recognise and celebrate all of your furry friends! With 12 categories to enter your dog into, each one offers a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize!
This year, we wanted to show our support to our local community - fluffballs and all - by sponsoring the 'Fluffiest Dog' category. We attended the event and (somehow!) we named the three fluff-alicous winners! We handed them each a rosette and a winners goodie bag, provided by the RSPCA.
We're so pleased to have been a part of such a wonderful day, and even prouder to have helped the RSPCA raise over £4,000 to continue providing the care and support for animals in their care.
