We swept the board last year at the Bluebird Care Awards 2015 so we weren’t expecting to feature this year. But we did! I’m delighted to say Bluebird Care Trafford was nominated again for the 2016 awards.

At the Bluebird Care Annual Conference, hosted in Brighton, Bluebird Care Trafford was chosen from nearly 30 offices to be one of just three finalists nominated for the Franchisee of the Year Award 2016 for the Northern region.

Our 8th national and regional award in just 5 years

Last year, we won the overall Bluebird Care Franchise of the Year Award 2015 and this 2016 award marks a total of 8 significant national and regional awards in only 5 years of business.
I was thrilled to represent our team on Saturday 8 October at the gala dinner and awards ceremony at Brighton’s beautiful Grand Hotel. This was also the venue for our national annual conference and it was fabulous to catch up with other Bluebird Care businesses. The event was another welcome opportunity to talk through the latest thinking in care and how Bluebird Care can continue to raise the bar in the homecare sector and provide exceptional quality to customers.

Going above and beyond

Our nomination was received as recognition of our teamʼs dedication to our customers, as well as the consistent high level of service demonstrated by our staff. Any franchise placed as a runner up is chosen only after a rigorous and wide-ranging selection process. A scoring system is used to identify the franchises that excel in their business and go above and beyond in 4 key areas; business development, quality audits, finance and marketing. This covers everything from staff retention to regulatory compliance and website management to adherence to payment schedules. Only franchises demonstrating exemplary practice across the board are shortlisted.

Our award-winning team

It was an honour to be nominated for this award and I was so proud to receive the award on behalf of our team back in Altrincham. I know how hard they all work day-to-day to truly make a difference to our customersʼ lives. First and foremost, our commitment is to our customers, and the acknowledgement of our positive team dynamic and excellent care is truly humbling.

Delivering exemplary care

Bluebird Care’s Chief Operating Officer Duncan Berry, who hosted the awards ceremony on the night, was full of praise for the nominees. He said, “It was a very difficult selection process as we had such a high number of strong franchises. Therefore, being nominated is a wonderful achievement, and all our regional finalists demonstrated expertise in care that delivers an exemplary experience.”

Speaking about us Duncan said, “Bluebird Care Trafford is dedicated to ensuring people have the option to receive high quality care in their own homes and provides a service that goes beyond day-to-day care, and makes a positive impact on its customers.
