Bluebird Care Trafford Makes Four New Senior Appointments

Published: 16/06/2014

‘Promoting our best colleagues from within' is a motto that Bluebird Care Trafford Owner Ian Helsby absolutely believes in.

News-FourNewAppointments.jpgRecently-arrived new Registered Manager, Amy Stone, has followed suit with her first new supervisory appointments that bolster the already strong links between the office-based management team and our care colleagues in the field.

Amy quickly identified four new Support Supervisor roles and held internal interviews for the promotion. Colleagues (left to right) Eileen Morton, Beverley Kirkham, Litsa Forster and Joely Sant are the new successful appointees.

Amy says,

These important new roles will help new probationary care workers settle in to their new roles more quickly as the support supervisors will personally introduce them to customers, take them under their experienced wings and supervise them in the field to make sure they meet only our very highest standards. They will also help new customers settle in more comfortably when they begin their care at home with us, help me review the care plans of existing customers more frequently, and report back on, and deal with, any contingency that may arise, quickly and efficiently.”

Ian says:

Our significant investment in these new roles clearly demonstrates that we are dedicated to enhancing our own very high standards as our business continues to grow exponentially. Bluebird Care Trafford now makes a difference to the daily lives of more than 80 mainly-private customers throughout the Trafford Borough, and we have more than 40 field-based staff and the four new Support Supervisors to act as the ‘glue’ that binds our operation together ever more strongly.”
