Bluebird Care launch its Nutrition and Hydration Awareness campaign with NHS and Dementia Champion Norms Macnamarra
Bluebird Care led a highly successful campaign alongside NHS Torbay and South Devon NHS Trusts raising awareness across South Devon of how prone older people are to dehydration.Dr Irene McClelland (Mealtime Enhancement Lead – Torbay Hospital) said:
Many thanks to Bluebird Care for your wonderful leaflets, which added so much to The ‘Nutrition & Hydration Week’ campaign. Our message is a simple one: don’t get admitted to hospital due to dehydration!"
The Bluebird Care/NHS Leaflet was distributed throughout Derriford and Torbay Hospitals, community nursing teams and delivered to 50,000 homes and was even discussed on the BBC radio Devon “Fitz” show. – For a copy of this information leaflets or further information contact the office.
