In July, we launched our Every Visit Counts Campaign to raise awareness of loneliness among older people in Britain, what we do to help combat it and share advice about combating loneliness. We know that the work our Care Assistants do goes further than providing practical support. Care Assistant Helena explains how she knows that every visit she makes count.

In July, we launched our Every Visit Counts Campaign to raise awareness of loneliness among older people in Britain, what we do to help combat it and share advice about combating loneliness.

We know that the work our Care Assistants do goes further than providing practical support. It also makes a difference to our customers emotional well-being.

Because of this, we know that every visit our valued community team make is important and counts.

We are delighted that our campaign has even been featured in the Daily Express!

Helena, who is one of our Care Assistants explained that:
The role I have in supporting customers living in the community is very important as it helps them maintain independence at home.

Very often the customers I visit are looking forward to me coming and I know that the time I spend helps improve their quality of life.

It is also great to see the difference I make when I am greeted with a huge smile!
