February is Heart Month and this year the British Heart Foundation are urging people to take healthy steps to help improve their heart health as well as support their annual fundraiser, Wear it. Beat it.

There are currently seven million people in the UK living with cardiovascular disease, which includes heart attack and stroke. However, in many cases people can help reduce their risk of these conditions by improving their diet, doing more physical activity and quitting smoking.

Wear it. Beat it. takes place on the 5th February, during Heart Month. The day encourages people to ‘get red everywear’ in aid of the British Heart Foundation. By participating in Wear it. Beat it. we are helping to win the fight for every heartbeat by raising money to help the British Heart Foundation in:
  • Finding treatments that transform the lives of people with heart disease
  • Supporting over 1,000 pioneering research projects on heart and cardiovascular disease
  • Supporting BHF healthcare professionals to care for people
We here at Bluebird Care Tonbridge & Tunbridge Wells are supporting Heart Month and the Wear it. Beat it. campaign to help raise awareness of the dangers of heart and circulatory disease in our area.”
