Hi there Barbara, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions! So can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi, well, im 96 years old and grew up in Cambridge.
I worked as a staff nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I then when to Addenbrookes Hospital for 2 years for training before getting married.

Thanks Barbara, sounds like you had an amazingly rewarding career! Now, what’s something that you achieved that you are most proud of and why?

Producing 2 beautiful children and I am also very proud of my nursing abilities.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
|
I used to really enjoy playing bridge and gardening.

Could you tell us your favourite memory?
|
Marrying my husband!
|
What words of wisdom would you offer to the next generation?
|
Work hard and be honest to lead a good life.
