We all have valuable connections in our local community and homecare can be very beneficial in supporting our customers to be able to keep these.

Whether it be a part of church or community groups, attending a day centre or even just having friends who live in the local area, maintaining these connections can have a positive impact on emotional wellbeing.

Maintaining relationships and connections within the local community can have a very positive impact on emotional well-being.

We believe that care needs should not be something that prevent us from this and whereas moving into a care home often means moving away from our local area, being able to remain at home means we can continue with these connections.

As well as supporting with various physical health needs, a Homecare Assistant can support with things like trips out to local places of interest along with things such as transport where it is needed to attend local groups.

This support also gives family members the peace of mind that their loved ones are maintaining relationships that can have a very positive impact on their emotional wellbeing.
