Our customer outings don't just extend to getting out of the house and into the local town. They include things that our customers find challenging to do without a little support at home as well.
Customer Doreen loves her garden, however has not been able to go out in it on her own for a little while, so when her Care Assistant Claudia learnt of this she wanted to do something to help Doreen make the most of the summer sun!
Doreen loves nothing more that relaxing with some sweet treats, so we arranged for Claudia to surprise her with some cakes and a little time to spend outdoors.
The pair made the most of the sun and as well as tucking into a generous selection of cakes (washed down with a cup of tea!) enjoyed the time simply chatting and putting the world to rights.
Doreen really loves her garden, so for us to be able to arrange this for her was great. Claudia specifically chose a selection of cakes that Doreen would enjoy and the pair certainly made the most of the sunshine! This made a big difference to Doreen and is something that we provided free of charge because we know the difference it makes.
