In the last instalment of our #MakeADifference campaign we spent some time with Janet who joined us at our customer event. She explained about some small things our team do that make a big difference!
Passion, dedication and diligence are all values that embody the way we provide support to our customers.
We strive to go the extra mile in every way that we possibly can and it is often the little things that our Care Assistants 'just do' which make the biggest difference.
We would like to thank Janet, who receives care due to her eyesight not being so good, for sharing a little of her experience with us.
I have regular Care Assistants who visit me on a regular basis. Because of my eyesight, everything needs to be in the right place so I can find it and although they may not realise, that my Care Assistants put everything back in the right place really makes a big difference.

We are proud to support our customers and deliver care that enables them to remain at home for as long as possible.
We are always looking to go above and beyond and regularly arrange outings for our customers. One of these included a trip out to Whitstable and Janet joined us for the day. We collected her and ensured that she was able to get there easily.
At our event with Age UK, Janet was reunited with a neighbour she had lost contact with for over two years and through the event we hosted, Janet and her neighbour are now planning a seaside trip to catch up!
We are passionate about providing a high standard of support to our customers and it was a privilege to help Janet enjoy a trips out along with day-to-day care. We strive to deliver support that goes the extra mile and always add extra information to each care plan that helps our Care Assistants continually do those little extras that make a big difference!
