Taking Margaret Out For Lunch

Every other month, we arrange to take a customer who does not go out very much for a treat and recently Care Assistant Louise took customer Margaret out for lunch at our local garden centre. Louise collected Margaret, who was very much looking forward to the trip and headed down to Millbrooks where they ate their fill and even had a sweet treat for pudding!

They also had a stroll around the garden centre to take in the environment and enjoy looking through the many various plants.
Care Manager Zoe explained:
Our customer outings are not just very enjoyable for the customer, but for the member of staff as well.
Margaret was very much looking forward to her trip out and had a great time! Millbrooks garden centre has been a popular location since our customer afternoon tea as the tea room is great and there is a lot to see.
Louise also had a great time and I must say, I think she looked forward to it as much as Margaret!
