Celebrating 101 With Kit

We always celebrate birthdays with our customers and recently celebrated with Kit, who is one of our eldest customers at now 101 years! Kit lives in Tonbridge, used to be a dress maker and was born in 1917 when King George V was on the throne.

Care Supervisors Ruth & Debbie popped round with a white chocolate cake and gift of a purple orchid that went down very well.
Ruth explained:
It was really lovely to visit Kit to celebrate her birthday. There are some great benefits to working in care and doing this was certainly one as we could see that she was truly touched by our visit.
Kit's Daughter Laura and son-in-law Andy who were there when we visited were really touched that we had thought about visiting Kit to celebrate her birthday. You could really see that it made a difference.
We enjoyed a cup of tea, slice of cake and Kit enjoyed a lovely large piece!
