As we strive forward in the quality of the care we provide and how we support our staff, we believe that the use of technology will have a big part to play over the coming years and are in the final stages of developing an app for our staff!

This app will enable our staff to have on the go access to our handbook of policies and procedures which guide them every day. It will also mean that we can save paper with the printing of our handbook as we seek to move towards a paperless office.

With just under 75% of people in the UK now owning a smartphone, our staff handbook app will compliment the use of our recently launched PASS system that provides live visit monitoring for our customers.

The app is in its final stages of development and we aim to launch it later this year in order for staff to easily be able to check the correct procedure in different circumstances.

Care Manager Claire Stanley said:
I think it is great that we are able to harness new technology to benefit the care we provide.

This really helps us provide a premium service to our customers and ensure that our staff have the best support possible.

I look forward to seeing the full and final app launched in the coming months!
