WINNER - COMMUNITY GRANT FEBRUARY 2017

Sharon Ryan, Director of Bluebird Care (Teignbridge) is pleased to announce that the winner of their latest Community Grant of £250 is Newton Abbot Community Transport.

Sharon says. “I’m so pleased they have won, they are a very much needed service and do a wonderful job.  Commiserations to those that didn’t win, better luck next time.”

Newton Abbot Community Transport is pleased to win the Bluebird Care Community Grant and will be using the funds to update all their publicity material, especially their leaflets, which have proved popular over the past three years. Having attained their Silver Jubilee last year, they will incorporate the celebratory logo and fresh photographs in their new material. The leaflets will publicise the Shopmobility wheelchairs and scooters, door to door Ring & Ride minibuses, wheelchair friendly community buses, volunteer driven wheelchair accessible and community cars, plus the daily living aid and equipment provision – all to help less mobile local people get out and about! NACTA Manager, Kay Yendall, said "We're delighted to receive the cheque from Bluebird Care and their support will enable us to continue to spread the word about all of our services, which make such a difference to so many people".
