Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield Awards Community Grant to MHA Lichfield

MHA Lichfield and District Live at Home, a charitable scheme that enables older people to maintain their independence and live fulfilled lives, has been awarded a Community Grant of £250 by Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield.

The scheme was awarded the Community Grant in recognition for their work tackling isolation among the elderly by providing a lifeline and support network to those who wouldn’t otherwise have one.

Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield, who is a provider of care for some of the scheme users, was inspired by the dedication of Caroline Bruno, the Scheme Manager, and her team who run activities for local older people. Together, Caroline and her team organise a variety of activities each week and work hard to raise funds to support the group’s operational costs.
