Our Bluebird Care Swale Awards Night

We were delighted to hold our annual awards night on Friday 5th February at River Valley Golf Club in Upchurch.

We were delighted to hold our annual awards night on Friday 5^th February at River Valley Golf Club in Upchurch.

We held our annual awards on 5^th February to reward our wonderful staff for their hard-work throughout the year! The awards were held at River Valley Golf Club, Upchurch. On the night staff were treated to a sumptuous three course sit-down dinner at the Rivers restaurant, and a good time was had by all.

On the night there was a ‘Heads & Tails’ game and a raffle for the chance to win a Sky Dive, all raising funds for chosen charities.

We would like to thank the brave people who put their names forward on the night to do the Sky Dive, the lucky winners picked out of a hat were - Melinda Street and Sue Lowrey. We encourage you all to help them as much as you can with sponsorship as funds raised will go to the Wisdom Hospice and One for Dementia Support Services.

Our ‘Heads & Tails’ game on the night raised over £40 which was presented to the very lucky winner Sam Robinson who was a guest from Dementia Support Services. Bluebird Care will match this amount with and will donate the total to Demelza Children’s Hospice.

And of course we presented members of our team with the special Bluebird Care Ashford & Swale awards. The award winners on the night were:

• Spirit of Bluebird Care- Amanda Chadwick
• Carer of the Year- April Sayers
• Carers’ Carer of the Year- Christine Sargent
• Attendance and Commitment- Natalie Harris
• Best Compliance- Allan Bean

Well done to all of the winners on the night, also to all who attended. We would also like to thank those all who didn’t attend on the night but carried on with their duties of care so that others could have the chance to go.
