Bringing Christmas Cheer To The Elderly

Delivering Presents donated by a local Lady
We had a lovely request from Sarah Challis, and we were pleased to support her in this venture, and deliver the lovely presents she has donated.
“This Christmas I would like to support my children (6 and 4) to do something nice for the community. I was thinking about collecting gifts for Christmas to give to the very isolated elderly who have very few relatives and are unlikely to receive much this Christmas. I am hoping to include some letters / pictures from the children too. I am hoping to work with local care agencies that would be able to identify some of their isolated clients and deliver with carers on their care rounds.”
Sarah raised £261 to buy presents through Just Giving and Facebook. Sarah delivered the presents to us today with her Children.
What a lovely kind gesture from Sarah and her Children, Sarah even popped a box of chocolates in for our Carers, to say thank you for their hard work.
We are positive that these presents will bring a smile to their faces when delivered.
