Creating a Dementia-Friendly Society

The Alzheimer's Society is an incredible charity that supports people living with dementia. They also fund life-changing research as they strive to make life with dementia more manageable and get closer to a cure.

Bluebird Care have committed to becoming become the UK’s leading specialist dementia care provider, and our partnership will raise vital funds for the charity across the UK. 

Many people wrongly assume that dementia is a normal part of ageing - it's not. Unfortunately, dementia is a complex condition and while its causes are not yet fully understood, we know that it's not an inevitable part of growing old. That is why it's so important that we spread awareness about the condition.

As part of this partnership, all Bluebird Care team members will become Dementia Friends - an initiative led by Alzheimer's Society to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of how people live with dementia. 

Together, we are committed to creating a world which better understands dementia and improves the lives of those living with it.
