Care Manager Lynne recognised at the Sunderland Caring for Carers Awards 2018

Many congratulations to our Care Manager Lynne Burnham who was recognised for "going the extra mile in supporting customers and family members" at the Sunderland Caring for Carers Awards 2018 which were held at Sunderland College on 30th November. She was nominated by one of our customers and their family, who also spoke at the event.
Many congratulations to our Care Manager Lynne Burnham who was recognised for going the extra mile in supporting customers and family members at the Sunderland Caring for Carers Awards 2018 which were held at Sunderland College on 30th November.We are very proud of the fact that she may be a manager but she really cares and she can be an inspiration to many.
She was nominated by one of our customers and their family, who also spoke at the event. This is what they had to say in their nomination;
Lynne cares very passionately about all her clients and arranges the best of care often at short notice and in changing circumstances. She always does it cheerfully and as though it's really no trouble, taking away the guilt that goes with being a carer, and not being able to do it all. Recently she put in place back up services for us, enabling my husband and myself to attend a wedding and have the first night away in 5 years. She's been able to provide sit in services at very short notice recently as we are experiencing a particularly rough patch with multiple appts for 4 people. Lynne is the only person I can rely on at the moment and makes a huge difference. She is a credit to Bluebird Care and we feel very lucky to have her 'in our corner'!
