Bluebird Care Sunderland completed Active Sunderland The Big Walk on 20th September

All 9 of the office staff and family completed the 11.5 miles event on 20th Sept in aid of Parkinson's UK.

The walk went well and all 9 of us completed the 11.5 miles of Heritage trails on behalf of Parkinson’s UK.

The weather was good, route well planned and we went passed some really good locations (Started at Sunderland National Glass Centre and ended at Herrington Country Park).

Possibly between 500-600 walkers participated. Overall a nice experience and a positive thought that we are doing something worthwhile in not just raising the profile/fundraising for Parkinsons’ UK but also improving our own health and seeing places which we were not aware of. Definitely a walk to do again for later.
