Q: Why do Bluebird Care Sunderland and Washington want to support Parkinson’s UK and howmuch do I hope to raise in the year etc .
Living with Parkinson’s disease can be emotionally, socially and physically demanding. My personal knowledge about this disease came about when I heard a talk by a Parkinson’s sufferer through my local Rotary Club and I was committed to wanting to make a difference, a real difference that is tangible and brings optimism and provides personalised support to people’s lives. I am fortunate that I am able to make this contribution through my family of carers and also giving my personal time where needed in helping to raise awareness about Parkinson’s and fully supporting our local Parkinson’s field team.
We will be supporting our local Parkinson’s team not just financially with regular committed giving but also working with them around various events throughout the year in further raising valuable funds and awareness.
