Invitation: Customer 'Memories' Tea Party on 15th July

Bluebird Care Sunderland are hosting a Tea Party event on the 15th July in Sunderland for our customers and their guests. The event is titled “Memories” and we wish the day to be interactive, participative and full of laughter. 

​Bluebird Care Sunderland are hosting a Tea Party event on the 15th July in Sunderland for our customers and their guests. The event is titled “Memories” and we wish the day to be interactive, participative and full of laughter. 

Come along for an enjoyable afternoon full of activities; puppets, seating dancing, reminiscence corner, laughter session and more!

Refreshments will be provided.

Below is a schedule of all the activities taking place on the day. Please click the button below to download the form.

• 2.00-2.15: Meet and greet - Say hello and have a cuppa

• 2.00-4.00: Reminiscence Corner - An area with lots of items from various decades to stimulate and chat about - No booking required

• 2.00-4.00: Refreshments in the Garden or Church Sanctuary if it is bad weather - Enjoy a cuppa at any time of the event either in our lovely flower scented garden ,or if the weather is bad the serene Church Sanctuary - No booking required

• 2.15-2.35: Seated Dancing - Seated exercise delivered to music. You can dance in the chair to great music from different eras. Just follow the instructor to have fun and reap the benefits of gentle exercise - Booking required.

• 2.15-2.35: Laughter Session - Gentle laughter exercises to revitalise and make you smile. Laughter has great health benefits and exercises are designed to make you laugh to release the feel good chemicals “Endorphins” from the brain - Booking required

• 2.40-3.00: Sing along - Singing is great for health and wellbeing and this session is for all abilities to belt out a tune to different music. There will be percussion instruments  to play - Booking required

• 2.40-3.00: Games - Remember games from way back when such as jacks, marbles and pick-up sticks. Have a try of a selection of old games or share stories of games that you can remember - Booking required

• 3.05-3.40 - Share and Chat - Bring an item of your choice along that we can all chat about. Examples might be a photo, toy or an ornament. We have a bottle of Brut for us all to smell - No booking required

• 3.40-4.00: Puppets - Meet our Puppet stars such as Elvis and Shirley Bassey. You might like to try having a go with our array of puppets too - No booking required
