REMAP Gloucestershire is a voluntary organisation which provides unique solutions for disabled people in the county.  They have around 16 engineers and craftsmen, who donate their time free of charge to provide a better quality of life and/or greater independence, by designing and building bespoke equipment to overcome the difficulties posed by, often severe, disabilities.

Referrals can be made by Occupational Therapists, or requests can be made by people with disabilities themselves, or their families.
 
Their engineers have skills in metalworking, woodworking, electronics and mechanical engineering.  If you have a problem that cannot be solved by a product on the market, or a regular tradesperson, you can contact REMAP to see whether they can help:
