We are delighted to announce our success at the Great British Care Awards West Midlands Regional Finals.
Our team enjoyed a fabulous evening at the Birmingham International Convention Centre, with colleagues from Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon and Bluebird Care East Staffordshire. The evening began with entertainment and gratitude for everyone present, providing exceptional care to people across the Central region of the UK.
Our Care Supervisor, Alice Gregory, received "Highly Commended" as runner up in the Care Planner & Assessor Category.
The judges said - Alice has a natural passion for the people she supports and wants to put the people she supports and her team at the heart of what she does. Being fairly new within her role it is clear that Alice has a great future and career ahead of her within the care sector.
Our Operations & Registered Manager, Rebecca Weaver was delighted to win the Coproduction Award.
The judges said - Rebecca Weaver’s dedication to co-production shines through in her partnerships with families, health professionals, and universities. Her work has directly benefited service users, particularly those with dementia, by enabling them to remain at home longer and ensuring care is tailored to their lived experiences.
The coproduction award was judged by the Social Care Institute for Excellence.
Rebecca will now go onto the National Finals, where another judging panel will assess all of the regional finalists. The Finals will be held in March 2025.
We wish Rebecca the best of luck.
