Two of our caring Bluebird Care Care Workers were on their rounds around in Stockport when they noticed Members of the public who were standing around staring at an elderly man slouched against a wall on a high street. At this point both carers who car share parked their car immediately and proceeded to see how they could help.

Both Care Workers helped the man to a resting position. The man said he was getting chest pains and suffered from Cardiac Dysrhythmia (also known as arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat) to which the Care Workers immediately contacted the emergency services.

As one Care Worker stayed with the gentleman, the other returned to the car for a blanket and a Bluebird Care Fleece to cover him and keep him warm.  They stayed with the the man until the ambulance arrived who took him away to Stepping Hill hospital. The Bluebird Care Team wishes him a speedy recovery.
