Meet our team of care professionals

Katie Latham
Registered Care Manager

Katie joined Bluebird Care in 2016 after completing her BAHons Degree in Social Work. whilst working Katie has achieved her Leadership & Management qualification in Health & Social Care. Katie was promoted from Field Care Supervisor to Registered Care Manager in 2018.

Katie is an inspiration to all her care team as she leads by example ensuring our care service is well led and all employees are fully supported at work through constant learning and development.

Always keeping an open-door policy for employees and working closely with customers and their friends and family members we can achieve positive outcomes in their care, always keeping our customers safe at home.

Sarah Beavan
Care Co-ordinator

Sarah joined Bluebird Care in 2016, Sarah is currently working through her Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care. Through our career pathway Sarah was promoted from Care Assistant to Care Co-Ordinator in 2018.

Sarah works closely with our customers ensuring their care package times are met with the continuity of care staff. Sarah is a valuable member of the management team who has excellent communication skills and has built good relationships with all our customers and staff. Sarah is a very caring and helpful individual, ensuring our customers remain happy with our services and is always willing to help.

Natalie Dagne
Quality Assurance Manager

Natalie joined Bluebird Care in 2015, Natalie holds a Level 3 NVQ Health & Social Care and whilst in employment Natalie is currently working through her Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care.  Since 2015 Natalie has progressed in her employment starting as a Care Assistant to Field Care Supervisor and recently promoted to Quality Assurance Manager in 2020.

Natalie is responsible for ensuring the quality of our care services are maintained to a high standard and staff continue to be fully supported and supervised at work. Natalie has taken the lead on implementing our new care monitoring system which enables us to monitor our care services including administering medication and closely working with health care professionals to achieve better outcomes in our care services. Natalie takes great pride in her work and is always willing to help others.

Filipa Carmo
Finance Manager

Filipa joined Bluebird Care in 2018, Filipa is a postgraduate in Economics and is currently working her way through her stage 2 (AAT) accountancy qualification.

Filipa is responsible for our Debtors and Creditors ledger. Ensuring our Invoicing process remains transparent for our customers. Filipa has built good relationships with professional bodies and continues to manage our partnership accounts with the local Authority and the NHS. Filipa has progressed within her role at Bluebird Care and is responsible in preparing Payroll and Management Accounts.

Filipa is the sunshine at work who enjoys taking the lead in organising and executing our Bluebird Care Fund raising events for many local and wide charities. Filipa’s caring and eccentric personality along with her innovative ideas bring life and joy into the Bluebird Care Management team.

Jennifer Earp
Recruitment & Training Manager

Jennifer joined Bluebird Care in 2019, Jennifer holds a (QCF) Level 3 & Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Jennifer was promoted from Care Assistant to Field Care Supervisor in 2020 thereon promoted to Recruitment & Training Manager in April 2021.

Jennifer upholds our company ethos in ensuring training for all staff is above standards set by Skills for Care. Ensuring all staff are up to date with training whilst working, Jennifer understands that our standards and quality of care services are reflected through excellent training.

Jennifer is a calm and caring member of the team who is always willing to help and support others at work.

Katie Goodacre
Field Care Supervisor

Katie joined Bluebird Care in 2017, Katie holds a (QCF) Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Katie was promoted from Care Assistant to Field Care Supervisor in 2020.

Katie is a warm and caring individual who enjoys supporting being a mentor to care staff and thrives on upholding good care proactive. Katie is experienced in Care Planning ensuring person centred care plans are tailored for all our customers needs.
