The tractors are coming to town! Festive fun for a great cause

The much-loved Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour returns this year, promising an unforgettable evening of festive joy in support of Garden House Hospice Care. 

With more dazzling lights and creative decorations than ever, this tractor parade is sure to spread Christmas cheer throughout Baldock, Letchworth, and Hitchin.

A convoy of tractors and farm vehicles, decked out with twinkling lights, snowmen, snowflakes, and Christmas trees, will take to the streets in a spectacular display. From rooftops to wheels, every inch of these machines will be transformed into a moving celebration of the season, guaranteed to delight residents young and old.

Route and timings

  • 6:00 PM – The convoy kicks off in Baldock, starting on Clothall Road and making its way through the High Street.
  • 6:45 PM – The tractors arrive in Letchworth, entering via Pixmore Way. They will circle Broadway Gardens roundabout before heading along Eastcheap and Leys Avenue.
  • 7:30 PM – The festive procession continues to Hitchin, concluding at St. Mary’s Car Park.

The event culminates in The Village at St. Mary’s Car Park in Hitchin, featuring fairground rides, festive treats, and heartfelt thank-yous to everyone who supports this charitable celebration.
