Dignity in Care Event

A fantastic event for Dignity in Care, held at our Bluebird Care office in Stamford

Bluebird Care hosted the Mayor of Stamford, Cllr Clem Walden and the Mayor of Peterborough, Cllr David Over, along with students from New Stamford College studying Health & Social Care. Some of our customers and relatives also came along to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake!

The event was to promote the Dignity in Care campaign, of which we were able to sign up several new “Dignity Champions” including both the Mayor of Stamford & the Mayor of Peterborough.

We sponsored a “Digni-Tree” which we encourage the events attendees to write down their meaning/thoughts of what Dignity means to them, these were then put onto the tree as “leaves” for others to read and comment.

The event was very well attended and we will be looking to follow this up with further events.
