Seven Bluebird Care team members were recognised at this year's Great British Care Awards, giving us plenty of reasons to celebrate!
It was a wonderful evening for Bluebird Care Stamford, Rutland, Peterborough & Oundle as we came together to celebrate our seven finalists at the Great British Care Awards, held on 30 October at MK Dons Stadium in Milton Keynes.
We were incredibly proud to see so many members of our team recognised for their dedication, hard work and commitment to delivering outstanding care and support.
Our finalists were:

- Abigail – Home Care Worker Award
- Hannah – Home Care Coordinator Award
- Suzanne – Home Care Worker Award
- Michelle – Care Assessor/Care Planner Award
- Tracy – Co-Production Award
- Maureen – Home Care Worker Award
Each finalist represents the care, compassion, professionalism and commitment that make such a difference to the people we support. Their recognition is something we are all immensely proud of.
The awards evening was also a lovely opportunity for colleagues to spend time together away from the usual working environment. With plenty of laughter, great company and a real sense of team spirit, it gave us the chance to reflect on what we achieve together and celebrate being part of Bluebird Care.
Celebrating what really matters
While awards and recognition are wonderful, what matters most is not the trophy, but the difference we make to people's lives every single day.
From our Care Experts providing person-centred support in customers' homes to our coordinators, assessors and wider office team working behind the scenes, every role plays an important part in helping people live safely, comfortably and independently in the homes they love.
Our seven finalists are a fantastic reflection of these values and the high standards we all work hard to uphold.
To Sarah, Abigail, Hannah, Suzanne, Michelle, Tracy and Maureen – you are all winners in our eyes, and we couldn't be prouder of you!
