Celebrating Excellence: Three Regional Finalists at the Bluebird Care Awards 2026
We’re absolutely delighted to announce that three members of our team have been named regional finalists at this year’s Bluebird Care Awards. An outstanding achievement that reflects their dedication, compassion, and commitment to delivering exceptional care.
This year, our finalists are:
Jess Heffernan – Community Engagement Award Recognised for her outstanding work in strengthening local partnerships, supporting community initiatives, and championing meaningful engagement that enhances the lives of those we support.
Vicki Jones – Team Player of the Year Celebrated for her reliability, positivity, and willingness to go above and beyond for colleagues and customers alike. A true example of teamwork in action.
Tammy Russell – Customer Care Award Acknowledged for her exceptional customer service, consistent professionalism, and the compassionate, person‑centred support she provides every day.
These nominations highlight not only the achievements of Jess, Vicki and Tammy, but also the strength and dedication of our wider team. Every nomination we received this year reflects the hard work, care, and commitment shown across our service and we are incredibly proud of everyone involved.
Vicki Jones - Operations Manager says:
I'm incredibly proud of our teams across all three offices and everything they've achieved. Being recognised as finalists is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and teamwork shown every single day. It's also fantastic to see Bluebird Care as a franchise recognising the achievements of individual offices-bringing everyone together to celebrate and share in each other's success.
On a personal note, I'm especially honoured to have been nominated as a finalist for Team Player of the Year. Having only recently stepped into my role as Operations Manager, it's really rewarding to know I've made a positive difference within the team. I feel very proud to be part of such a supportive and passionate organisation.
The regional awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 24th June and it promises to be a fantastic day of celebration, recognition, and inspiration, bringing together teams from across the region to honour the very best of Bluebird Care.
