Bluebird Care St Helens proudly supporting The Alzheimer's Society

Our qualified Dementia Ambassadors work in partnership with The Alzheimer's Society and hold regular information sessions to educate our staff and the local community how individuals can continue to live a full and happy life following a diagnosis.

It can be a daunting time when a loved one is diagnosed with dementia and often individuals believe that a care home is needed straight away. At Bluebird Care, our main goal, is to help customers stay safe in the home they love for as long as possible.

Our Dementia friends sessions aim to educate individuals on the illness and how it can affect people in different ways. During a session, you will learn about how to interact, signs to watch out for and how you can overall support individuals living with dementia.

Our training manager Caitlin has fed the sessions out to not only staff but family members, other companies, community centre's and hopes to continue to spread the word.
