Well done to Rebecca O'Keefe for making the Home Care Insight Power List 2021 - The first annual guide to inspirational leaders who are shining examples of care excellence and innovation.
She was nominated for the Care Innovators award which is to individuals who have come up with new and exciting ideas to support staff and improve client outcomes, for her outstanding work in helping us reach our Gold Standard Framework certification.
Rebecca has been working extremely hard to help us implement and follow the Gold Standard Framework in to the business.
We are proud to say the work she has done has meant we are the first Home Care company in the UK to be awarded this Golf Standard Framework certification.
She has been instrumental in developing and implementing the Gold Standard framework into Bluebird Care Newcastle & South Tyneside. The framework, awarded for our palliative care service ensures our customers' needs are identified early. All customers have an advanced care plan - customers are supported to live well, are enabled to pass away in preferred location, families are fully supported, and compassionate, dignity enhancing care is always provided. Thanks to Rebecca 96%25 of customers who are receiving our palliative care service have passed away in their chosen location.
