Bluebird Care South Tyneside and JnK dance school tackling social isolation

At the start of the pandemic Bluebird Care South Tyneside joint forces with JnK dance school to tackle social isolation during COVID-19.

Bluebird Care South Tyneside hoped to bring some joy to their customers when teaming up with JnK School of Dance... And we are happy to report, it was a success! 

We all know how important mental wellbeing is and we take it very serious. During the pandemic our customers faced many challenges because of the social isolation which could have serious impact on their mental health. So it was extremely important we did everything we could to spread a little happiness when we could. When we teamed up with JnK Dance it was exactly this. 

Kelly Haswell, one of Bluebird Care South Tyneside's Directors who also runs JnK Dance set some of the children at the Dance school to draw a picture of a rainbow as well as introducing themselves which could then be given to a Bluebird customer. The customer could then choose to reply with a little thank you message if they wanted.

It was great to see some many big smiles on faces as they received their drawings, some even wrote a little reply out.
