March 18th 2019, was an exciting day for world traveller Kelly Adam as she joined the staff at Bluebird Care in Oxfordshire as their new Operations Manager.

Having previously worked for a relocation company, Kelly was looking for something different. Her passion for care and the high-quality services that Bluebird Care provides led her to apply for the role.

Kelly said: “I’ve worked as a Director of Client Services for many years, focusing on developing leadership strategies and ensuring excellent service delivery.

I enjoyed my job but wanted to work for a company where I could use my managerial skills to help support the wellbeing of others.

When I saw that Bluebird Care in Oxfordshire was looking for an Operations Manager, I jumped at the chance to apply! The care industry is something that I’ve always been very passionate about and so I was thrilled to be accepted to the position.”

Kelly added: “The last few weeks have been a real pleasure working with the Bluebird Care team here, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I feel like I’ve become part of a family! Everyone looks out for one another and support is given when needed.”

When the working day is done, Kelly shoots off to the gym and unwinds in the evening by watching crime stories on Netflix. She loves to travel having spent years in the U.S, New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia.

Kelly commented: “Last summer, I went to the Galapagos Islands, it was such an amazing experience. The scenery was breath taking and I saw a 100-year-old turtle!”
