Jack holds a Dementia Friends Session

Bluebird Care Director Jack Whitfield has finally opened his account as a Demetia Friends Champion

Jack completed the Champion training back in 2013 in order to learn more about dementia as around a third of our customers are living with the disease.

He learned a great deal of useful information but was always too busy to organise the sessions.  Thankfully the local MP had the resources and the inclination to arrange the sessions, enabling Jack to start spreading the word!

With the first four Dementia Friends enlisted, including Christine from the Wickwar Social Club, the wheels are now officially in motion and we can start adding to the national total of 1,297,810!

The next session will be held in Wick this October.
