Stoma training in action using a range of training aids

Catheter Care

Here at Bluebird Care our Care Manager takes training of all our care workers as a high priority. For this reason she has purchased a full size flexible mannequin and this enables her to mimic real life situations in a controlled environment. Along with this she has purchased many items such a stoma care training pack and catheter care training packs following advice from health professionals.

In these pictures you can see Linda our Care Manager using our mannequin to train two care workers in customer specific catheter care and proper use of a hoist.
