Finalists: Leaders in Care Awards 2026
Bluebird Care Solihull is a finalist in three categories at the Leaders in Care Awards 2026. The nominations recognise three people from our team: Nazreen Bibi for Frontline Carer of the Year (Home Care), Narbir Virk for Registered Manager of the Year, and Kam Goraya for Executive of the Year (Home Care). Winner: Registered Manager of the year 2026
We’re delighted to announce that Narbir Virk has been named Registered Manager of the Year 2026. With more than 30 years’ experience in care, Narbir has built a service centred on outstanding leadership, strong governance and genuinely person-centred care. From achieving a 96% Gold Compliance Award to coordinating urgent live-in care packages within hours, this award recognises the professionalism, compassion and dedication she brings to our customers, families and team every day.

Finalists: Bluebird Care Regional Awards 2026
We are incredibly proud that members of our team were recognised at the Bluebird Care Regional Awards 2026. Narbir Virk and Shannon Kington were shortlisted for Communications & Marketing Champion, while Bryony Humphries was shortlisted for Care Professional of the Year. Their nominations reflect the passion, professionalism and commitment our team shows in delivering outstanding care and supporting our local community.

Winner: Stars of Social Care Awards 2026: New to Care
We are pleased to share that Poppy Sagar has been named winner of the New to Care Award at the national Stars of Social Care Awards. Joining the team just over six months ago, Poppy has already made an impact through her compassionate, patient and person-centred approach to care. She supports customers with dignity and kindness, helping them maintain independence while offering reassurance and quality care. We would also like to recognise Narbir Virk and Bryony Humphries, who were shortlisted as finalists in their categories. Being recognised nationally reflects the professionalism, dedication and compassion they bring to their roles. We are proud of the difference they make to customers, families and wider team.

We are finalists ! We are excited to share that 3 of our care team have been recognised as finalists in the Stars of Social Care Awards 2026. Narbir Virk, finalist for Inspirational Home Care Manager Poppy Sagar, finalist for New to Care Award Bryony Humphries, finalist for Reducing Social Isolation Award. This recognition reflects the consistent commitment shown across the home care service in supporting people to live safely and independently at home. Finalists: Stars of Social Care Team Awards 2026
The team at Bluebird Care Solihull attended the Stars of Social Care Teams Awards 2026 in Manchester, where we were finalists in two categories. The team was recognised in the Independence Champions Award (Community Care Teams) and Rehabilitation & Reablement Team Award. The shortlisting reflected strong teamwork and a focus on consistent, person-centred care that supports people to live independently at home. While we were not winners on the night, the event was a valuable opportunity to take part in excellence across the home care community. We extend our congratulations to all finalists and winners.

For customers and their families, this means care is delivered safely, clearly documented and tailored to individual needs, with appropriate professional oversight throughout. It reflects the commitment of our care professionals, supervisors and management teams, whose professionalism and dedication ensure high standards across all aspects of care delivery.
