Dickens Heath Christmas Tea
Bingo, elves, and a sprinkle of festive magic!
This week, we welcomed our customers to Christmas tea at Dickens Heath Village Hall. The afternoon included laughter, festive games, and plenty of seasonal cheer. From a lively round of Christmas bingo to a surprise visit from some mischievous elves, it was a wonderful chance to come together, connect, and enjoy the magic of the season.
At the heart of the day were our customers, whose smiles and enthusiasm made the celebration truly special. Moments like these remind us why community and togetherness matter so much.
We’d also like to thank our amazing staff, whose dedication and teamwork brought the event to life and ensured everyone felt welcomed. Special thanks to members of our wider community — Fiona Ahern from University Hospitals Birmingham Charity and Zoe Doherty from Blossomfield Rose Nursing Home — whose support added to the spirit of togetherness.

Annual Christmas Party
Games, hampers, and a little friendly competition!
On Wednesday, we held our annual Christmas party, filled with laughter, festive cheer, and some very competitive games. Thanks to our partners at Wiltshire Farm Foods, we had amazing prizes on offer, including a fantastic hamper kindly donated by Andy Pitt.
Congratulations to Mrs G, who won our raffle in aid of Alzheimer’s Society — a beautiful hamper packed with M&S Christmas treats! Well done also to Mrs H and Fiona, our Christmas bingo winners, who each took home lovely hampers of their own.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this a meaningful way to celebrate the festive season together.

Festive Gratitude for Our NHS Heroes
A little chocolate, a lot of thanks!
Last Friday, our Bluebird Care elves visited Solihull Hospital and Community Services NHS, delivering a touch of festive chocolate cheer to staff across the wards. It was our way of saying thank you for the incredible work hospital teams do every day — many of whom work right through Christmas to care for others.
We’re grateful for all they do and proud to work alongside such dedicated hospital staff, helping deliver safe, compassionate care to our community.
