Bluebird Care Shropshire Celebrate Care Co-Ordinator’s Decade of Service

Bluebird Care Shropshire is celebrating the tenth anniversary of Kirsty Holland, a Specialist Care Co-ordinator, working in our team.

Kirsty joined Bluebird Care Shropshire in 2012, where she would travel to the homes of her customers on a moped. Having initially set out to be a nurse, Kirsty quickly realised she most enjoyed working directly with older people in the local community.

Within two years, Kirsty was well on her way to a successful career in care. She enjoyed prestigious recognition, winning a Carer of the Year Award in 2014.

In May 2018, Kirsty was tasked with launching Bluebird Care Shropshire’s Live-In Care services. In the four years since, the offering has become a thriving service that continues to serve customers most in need, at the heart of the local community.

We are responsible for the delivery of care services directly to the homes of their customers. Visits cover a variety of tailored care services, from personal care to companionship, home help, to trips into the community, right up to 24-hour Live-in Care.

Reflecting on the milestone, Kirsty Holland said:

“I have enjoyed progressing through various career milestones and developing my skills and knowledge through real experiences. Through Bluebird Care Shropshire, I have completed extra training through work and from a personal perspective, I have developed and grown.”

“All of this has enabled me to grow with the business and continue to progress and develop. As we spend most of our lives at work, it has been great to be able to help others in a thriving business, and to map out a fulfilling career.”
