Blue Monday Flowers
Every year on Blue Monday, our team delivers flowers to every person we care for.
Blue Monday is often referred to as the most difficult day of the year, falling on the third Monday in January. While it's not a scientifically proven concept, it's a day that has become associated with feeling low, particularly during the winter months when the days are colder and darker.
At Bluebird Care Shropshire, we like to turn the day into something positive by spreading a little happiness to the people we support.
As Claire Gwilliam, our Care Manager at Bluebird Care Shropshire, says:
“It's a small act of kindness, but it has a huge impact.”
For our Care Experts, it's also a chance to spend a few extra moments with the people they support, share a smile and see their faces light up.
It's a tradition that our team looks forward to every year and one that captures how much the little moments can mean.

More than just a bunch of flowers
Although flowers are a lovely gesture, it's really the thought behind them that matters. Taking the time to visit, have a chat and share a moment together can make someone feel special and remind them that people are thinking of them.
For some of the people we support, seeing a familiar face and having that little bit of extra time together can mean so much. It's these everyday interactions that help build trust, friendships and meaningful relationships between our customers and their Care Experts.
At Bluebird Care Shropshire, we know that great care is about more than the practical support we provide. It's about getting to know each person, understanding what makes them smile and finding little ways to make their day brighter.
Making every moment count...
Blue Monday is just one example of how our team goes the extra mile to show how much we care. Whether it's a thoughtful gesture, a friendly conversation or simply taking the time to listen, we believe these moments can make a real difference.
At Bluebird Care Shropshire, we're proud of the difference our team makes through the care and kindness they show every day. If you'd like to find out more about our home care services, or how we could support you or a loved one, get in touch with our friendly team on 01743 874343.
